Proud to be an engineer
There are so many different CAD programs out there for any different type of 3D modelling you might need. Whether you're parametric modeling in SolidWorks, surface modeling in Rhino3D, using a simplified CAD program like SketchUp, or hobby modeling in Blender, there's a program out there that is tailored to your needs. A great amount of people that use these CAD softwares use it in their field of work, in many different types of engineering fields. Above is a pie chart on the most used CAD softwares, some of which you might not have even heard of, or some that you use everyday that you might not have realized were as popular.

A great amount of people that use these CAD softwares use it in their field of work, in many different types of engineering fields. Naturally, with this being the case, you become attached to certain programs more than others, and you might even try using commands from your favorite program on others and get frustrated when it doesn't work how you're expecting it to like I do. On National CAD Day I encourage you to wear attire promoting your favorite CAD software company and show pride in being an engineer, because without us engineers, the world wouldn't be the way it is today.
